65th Emmy Awards - Best Dressed

I love red carpets.. I think it must be the most stressful yet exciting experience at the same time..getting all glam'd up, hair and make up..expensive gowns...the best feeling when ur a woman.

So the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards were held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, last night.

A lot of celebrities strutted their stuff on the red carpet, but some of them stood out in my opinion. Here are my fav's of the evening.

Zoey Deschanel

Zoey is wearing a lovely J. Mendel gown. I especially like her make up and hairstyle with this outfit. She looks so sophisticated. I'm lovin that clutch by Edie Parker as well! It adds a bubbly factor to the whole look.

Leslie Mann

Leslie is wearing a graphic print dress by J. Mendel. I love the cut out side parts. It adds some subtle sexy'ness without being too revealing. The sheer panel at the bottom is my favorite part of the dress..See through is a huge trend this SS2014.

Julie Bowen

Usually I do not like dresses with ruffles at the bottom. I think it's cheesy..plus it only works if the outfit is kept simple. Subtle accessories, and jewellery..is a must. And I think she did a great job. Julie wore a powder pink Zac Posen gown. The color suits her skintone, and makes her glow..The body of the dress has some subtle ruffles around the waist..which compliment her figure. The intense eye make up, works because the rest of her make up is kept nude and natural.
(oh! Btw..Nude make up is hot this next season).

Rose Byrne

My favorite of the night. Rose dyed her hair blond for the occasion, and looked stunning in a Calvin Klein Collection gown. The mid riff is pure perfection, the color goes really good with her new hairdo, and the subtle lining at the waist, only compliments her impeccable waistline.

Kaley Cuoco

I love this new hot and trending color! Burgundy is one of my favorite trends this AW2013-14. And the gown looks great on her. Kaley is wearing a lovely Vera Wang dress..

Taylor Schilling

I'm in love with the white trend this winter. I think Taylor looks amazing with this Thakoon gown on. Minimalistic lines, sexy cut outs..an old glam inspired hairstyle and red lip, combined with subtle gold jewellery. Love it.

Sarah Hyland

Modern Family' actress Sarah Hyland looked amazing in her Carolina Herrera dress last night. She combined her colourful green dress, with a dark red lip, and a sleek low ponytail.

Dance is everywhere.

Lately I've noticed the popularity of dance has grown immensely. It's thanks to programs like 'So you think you can dance' that people around the world, have grown to love the art that is dance. Commercials see the power of it, and the way people translate to the movement of a human body. I used to dance myself, and I miss it everyday. For a really long time I thought I was destined to be a professional dancer. But some bad choices made my future plan look slightly different. which is okay..I know everything happens for a reason. But my passion for dance has not gone away..What I love about it most, is the way you can get a message across without using any words. Every move, big or small, triggers something inside, making someone able to understand the story behind it. Dance is a huge source of inspiration to me, I can watch someone dance, and feel inspired and uplifted..motivated, happy..and that is why dance is the greatest form of art. I admire professional dancers, and their dedication.. There is nothing more mind blowing, in my opinion, watching a powerful performance..there is so much emotion and feelings involved..that it's hard not to be touched by it. I'm drifting off.. so dance is everywhere.. you see it in car commercials, clothing commercials, music video's.. and I'm loving it. Here are some of the videos that have inspired me, and showed me that dance is now more than ever, very present.

STELLA x ADIDAS SS14

Stella made a collection in collaboration with Adidas, and this is the result. No runway show, but a luxury work out session, with pink exercise bikes and futuristic yet colourful clothing.

I LOVE IT. so original. Granted it looks weird when you see the pictures, but its the weird factor that works..and makes it something to remember. Especially because it's something different, it's not just models walking up and down a runway..they're actually moving around and working out, showing you how the clothing moves and fits while being used. Super practical.

What we see is colourful clothing, soft and bright, futuristic, sleeveless hooded jackets, cut out swimsuits, graphic print leggings, and the best thing in my opinion.. all ECO-FRIENDLY! Stella used a lot of sustainable materials like organic cotton and recycled nylons. Plus she used the new DryDye technology at Adidas, which uses no water at all to dye clothing.

Amazing isn't it? Best picture is Stella taking out her phone to snap a shot of some girl twisted in some pose in the silk ropes...

TOM FORD SS14

So many designers to blow my mind... I can not handle this. I just finished my AW 2013-14 blogpost..and I got a glimpse of the SS14 Tom Ford collection... I was baking brownies -which is a very important thing to me - and out the corner of my eye, I saw this picture on my screen...and I stopped instantly.. On the picture was this suit- I think it's a long sleeve dress with high boots- in some kind of mosaic.. very colourful, and gorgeous.

You know how you can fall in love with a dress on a picture?..I had that happen to me over and over again, the sheer dresses..with the sequins, and the mosaic.. I LOVE IT. Mini and maxi, fur and sheer, sequins and mosaic...this collection has it all. These are the kind of pieces any woman would die for.

Take a look at these pictures...and try to keep your mouth from drooling. Check out the whole collection here.
