YEEZY X ADIDAS ORIGINALS - SEASON 1

So social media has been buzzing about this..I admit, Kanye doesn't come of as the nicest person out there. And I've had my doubts about him in the past. But there is no denying that he is a great artist, and his style is impeccable. I think he is one of the most misunderstood people out there. Sure he has a big mouth, and he's not afraid to use it. But he stands up for what he believes in. He is such a great performer, and if you know where he came from, you would understand that he is a great artist, with a huge love for art and music. His live performances are electrifying. His lyrics take you somewhere deep, his music is filled with powerful messages. He's an inspiration to a lot of people, and what he did with Adidas, is a fresh look into his world of creativity.

So Adidas Originals has given Kanye / Yeezy the opportunity to design a collection. He did a show at NYFW, and I was really curious to see what he did.

The result was a minimalistic collection with outfits that remind me of a dope hunger games vibe. I can't help but see Jennifer Lawrence running in the jungle in this spandex outfit combined with cameo print, and forest green colors. I may sound like i'm joking around. But I love Hunger Games, I love Jennifer Lawrence, and I loved the collection.

Thats miss Kylie Jenner in the front row, if y'all did not notice.

His presentation wasn't something explosive, or dynamic. It was really introvert, models with barely any make up on, sober faces staring in the distance, slowly moving forward, row after row, to let the front camera get close on some of the gorgeous faces. In the background you could hear the first single 'Wolves' off of his new yet-untitled album. This song is a ft with Sia and Vic Mensa. Two of my most favorite people in the music industry at the moment. The track brought the whole piece together.

The front row was a mix of music and fashion elite including Alexander Wang, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Cassie, P diddy, his wifey and little baby girl, and Anna Wintour.

I love the fact that Adidas has given him the chance to share his fashion with us all. I feel like, people are just hating, because he is Kanye. They don't appreciate his point of view, or creativity, because they have this personal issue with him. He has done some shady shit in the past. But who hasn't? I adore him, for having the courage, to make something so out there. Cuz let's face it.. the panty hoses, mesh all over spandex suits... not too flattering for just anyone. But the dark green color is to die for, and I love the whole forrest hobo style, with the oversized jackets, and sweaters. I would wanna own every single piece. It's a collection of good basic pieces that you can combine endlessly.

Most of the buzz concerned the Yeezy 750 Boost, one of the sneakers he designed with Adidas Originals. For my fellow Belgian readers, I have some good news. On the 28th of february, the Yeezy will be released globally. Avenue Sneakerstore in Antwerp, will be the only store in Belgium selling a limited amount of these beauties. Price is 350$.

Natalie La Rose - Somebody

So it's been a while since I've wrote anything on here. I don't think of myself as a blogger persé. But once in a while I get inspired to write something. And today is that day.

So I was browsing through my facebook feed, and came across this youtube video. I had seen it a couple of times, so I guess that was a sign to just take a look. Natalie La Rose did not ring a bell, but the opening shot of the video, made me believe I needed to know her. She is GORGEOUS!

I'm into music videos, and it's the most inspiring to me, fashion wise, cuz you can make or break a song in my eyes. This one, I don't know who did it. But it's freaking amazing. So bubbly and girly, yet still so sexy! good lighting, good wardrobe, good dancers, good vibe. She is stunning, I love her red curly hair, over the top gold hoops, her style is on point.

She reminds me of Aaliyah..I don't know if her look was inspired by her, but she def brings up some memories. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but Tinashe has got some competition. I think she's gonna be huge! The way she moves, you can tell she's a good performer, her dancing is flawless.

KTZ AW14 for Bullett Magazine.

So this caught my eye immediately! I'm in love with KTZ as a brand, and I've been following them on instagram for a while now.

A little bit of history ; Marjan Pejoski and Sasko Bezovski opened the shop 'Kokon to Zai' in London in 1996. Which became the place to be for all things creative in music and fashion. A platform for cutting edge designers, and loads of creative projects. In 2003, they founded the label 'KTZ'.

When you look at the designs made by KTZ, it's the raw energy and couture-edge that pops out. Their clothing is so powerful, yet minimalistic in a way..because of the use of black and white. I love the awareness they create for multiculturalism, and contrasting elements, such as secular and religious, modern and ancestral. They have a futuristic, 'streetwear meets couture' vibe. Mixing the best of both worlds.

"I adore couture, but at the same time, the street is the platform. It's all about the mix.” – Marjan Pejoski

I loved the editorial they did for BULLETT magazine. The girl in the picture is absolutely stunning, and I fell in love with the black and white fur pieces! Their AW14 collection was inspired by the religious and oriental culture in the Middle east. A lot of oversized sweaters on top of leggings and skirts, a lot of layering, nice details, fur hooded ponchos, puffy jackets, and an amazing GOLD look to finish it off! Here are some of my favorite pics from the editorial and runway show! Enjoy xoxo

Brooke Candy!

So this lady needs no introduction actually. She's sooooo out there! Wauw!

But a short summary of who she is, and what she stands for, for the people who don't know her.

She started as an intern at Rachel Zoe, but described that experience as boring. After that she worked as a stylist for Hustler Magazine, but felt being a stripper was the way to go. She did this for 8 months and then decided making pop music was the career she wanted to pursue because of the money that could be made. She has been signed to RCA Records, part of Sony Music. She is known for her very spicy looks, and revealing outfits. I personally love it. It disgusts me at the same time, which for me means, that its freaking awesome! I love people like this. Her latest EP 'Opulence' is again proof that she's the real deal. With tracks like 'Godzillionaire' opening with 'Oeehhh you're one ratchet bitch' it sets the mood for the rest of the tracks.

Below are some of the craziest and most awesome pics I found on google, and her new video 'Opulence' which is so very scary, but totally amazing!

DOUBLE BUBBLE TROUBLE - M.I.A

So I've been a huge fan of M.I.A since her single 'Paper Planes'. She's just so unique in every single way. Plus in my eyes she's one of todays greatest Style Icons. Her use of color and prints, are outrageous. Plus her face is stunning. Her video's are inspiring and totally bad ass and weird even sometimes! Like it when people take risks, and are comfortable with stepping out of the comfort zone, and sticking to their beliefs and what they stand for. Here are some of her most wacky outfits and pictures. Enjoy! Make sure to watch her new video for 'Double bubble Trouble' it's insane!
