Neon Lovers

A huge trend this summer is the NEON versus NUDES! I can see the neons taking over store after store..and it only means ONE thing... SUMMER is on it's way boys and girls! And all you need to survive is COLOR! the brighter the better! Combine a more neutral colour with a BRIGHT NEON HOT PINK for instance! Looks great! You have different options, clothes, make up, or nailpolish! IT'S ALL GOOD! Here are some pictures to get you in the mood!

When it comes to swagga style.. M.I.A is tha bomb! I love her! She has such an unique style..and she looks good in almost anything. Who would look good in bright green lipstick? M.I.A would..for sure! She inspires me to be crazy..her music is so good! Everytime a song of her comes on, I just feel like hanging LOW..putting on the most outrageous outfits..and don't give a f*ck! Love you M.I.A! Keep rocking this world!


Another crazy M.I.A fact! She performed live at the Grammy's with her homeboys, Kanye, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and T.I..she was PREGGERS, plus it was her due date THAT night.. She went in to labour hours after her electrifying performance. She delivered a no doubt swagga little baby boy! It probably came out doing a rap, or flying dem paper planes! Congratz M.I.A!

I think this should be a huge trend in spring and summer time! MULTI COLORED NAILS! You take a shade, like for me, I took orange as my base colour, and then added lighter and darker colours..I adore the tangerine colored everything! Lips, eyes, nails, clothes! I WANT IT ALL! It's like dipping your fingers in a pot of sunny yummyness! Aaaah can't wait for summertime! Tops, dresses, cute strappy sandals, shorts, skirts, sipping cocktails, happy people everywhere! YES, I am depressed during wintertime, who isn't?

I saw this performance by chance on telly, last week..and it mesmerized me. Lianne La Havas. UK based artist..I immediately booked two tickets for her concert..she's playing in brussels next week. Last night my eye fell on the lovely Katie Holmes. I remember seeing her as a young girl on Dawsons creek. When she was just a teenager, she said, that she was going to be married to Tom Cruise! Whataya know? Couple of years later, they met, and sparks flew all over the place. But she has grown up, in to this amazing looking woman..Her outfits are always picture perfect. Last night she wore a navy  colored embellished gown from Elie Saab ( LOVE )! xoxo

New skin products!

I recently ordered some skin products online. Because I noticed my skin being very oily, and unhealthy looking. So I did a little research..and decided to go for the La Roche Posay Effaclar products. And to my suprise, my skin is feeling so soft, and it looks way better! So happy when something actually makes a difference. This is what I got..

 

1. Corrective and unclogging anti-imperfection care / Effaclar Duo 

Apply morning and/ or evening on the whole face. This reduces the appearance of imperfections, and unclogs pores. 

2. Targeted break out corrector 

Apply locally until imperfections dissapear. 

3. Gommage surfin physiologique

It's a peeling creme, that you apply on a wet face, rub well in to the skin..and then rince properly. It tightens the face, and reduces fine lines. It also purifies your pores. 

Another product I received last week, and which I'm trying out, is the Baume Beauté Eclair, the beauty flash balm from Clarins. This cream gives your skin a radiance in a flash. After a day of work, and you still wanna go out, and you need a quick pick me up, skinwise..you put this on your whole face, and it makes your face look fresher instantly. A product made in heaven. I've tried it, and it works. hallelujah!

So two weeks ago, I had my 4th styling shoot for my portfolio. The photographer finished one look, the faux fur one. I'm very excited, because the pictures turned out very very good! I love them! The model looked great, hair and make up was flawless, and the photographer did a great job! Here are the first pictures from my last shoot!
