SKULL

I've been obsessed with skull make up since the lady gaga video 'Born this way'. So I wanted to do a concept similar to that, but without copying the look. So I asked Robby Politi, talented photographer from Genk, Belgium, to help me out. Shana van Schuylenbergh is an awesome make up artist who works for MAC. She is so talented, and is great in the art of grime. I did not want to do a crazy styling on this one, so I ended up just using clothes from my own closet and Robby's, trying to keep it simple, so that the focus would be on the amazing make up. So we teamed up on this one, and the result was stunning. A true team effort. Take a look at the pictures.

Preview shots!

I thought I would share some of these preview pics from my last shoot! I'm so excited to see the results! It was a busy and very exhausting day...especially because I was so sick! But it was an amazing team, all creative people, who work hard for what they want in life. Shari Ruzzi was the photographer of the day..and she did an incredible job! Location, organisation, everything was spot on.. It's always exciting when you see how everything fits...For these shoots, we still have 2 shooting days coming up, Shari came up with a cool concept.. combining fashion & dogs. I'm a huge animalfreak, so this was right up my alley! Enjoy these preview pics..the real stuff is coming really soon.

Shoot#3

For this shoot, I put together 4 different looks from my own closet. Just normal clothes. Streetstyle wear. I love walking around on the street, and getting excited and inspired when someone walks by, and has such an amazing outfit on. You just try to take it all in, without them noticing you staring them down. Yes, I love the glits and the glam on the red carpet in Hollywood. Who doesn't? But I get my inspiration from all over the place, music, movies, celebrities, fashion magazines, people on the street, on the internet, friends, everywhere! I love fashion. I love expressing who you are through your clothes and style. You can really get yourself out there. And I love doing that. When I see something in a store, that's really out there, most people will think, well I can't get this, what will everyone think? But my mind's going, YES I LOVE THIS! Because I really don't care if someone likes my outfit, i'm expressing me, myself and I. As long as I love it, who cares about the rest?  I can look like a total bum walking around the streets, but i'm comfy, i'm feeling good, and it expresses my feelings at that time. I'm probably having a day off from work, bad hair day, and I don't give a **** about all of you day. And it's sooo liberating, to just run around, feeling free! Ough I love it!

So these four outfits, are outfits that I could wear everyday. They express my own personal style(s), they express me!

I owe a big thank you to my lil sistah, who spent the day with me, in super cold weather, trying to get the perfect pictures! So thanks sis, Love you.

Look 1.

So this outfit is my little blue riding hood. I didn't take a picture of it, but it's got a big hoodie on the back, I love it. The colour of the coat is diferent too. So I combined it with some denim shorts, blue tights, blue sneakers, a little satin blue bow, and an offwhite blouse. The coat is from miss selfridge in London. Shorts, tights, and blouse  is all H&M, the little satin bow I got from MBC, made by chickies, and the shoes are from Sasha.

 Look 2.

This look is one of my favorites. I like cute, babydoll outfits. So I chose this laced up offwhite dress, a short tweed look-a-like grey blazer, wedge heels, little grey socks, and a golden necklace. The dress, necklace, blazer and socks are from H&M,  and the wedge heels, are from Van Dalen.

 Look 3.

This look is adorable. I love this modern schoolgirl look! So I love the combination of the shorts with the shirt. I combined it with some over the knee socks, bright blue All Stars, my favorite golden necklace, geek glasses, my l.o.v.e ring, and my denim jacket. Shorts are from Episode, Necklace from Urban outfitters, geek glasses from Claire's, the ring is from miss selfridge, shoes from footlocker in the US of A, shirt is from G star, and denim jacket and socks from H&M.

Look 4.

We should've shot this one outside aswell. But I was freezing my A** off out there, so I chose to shoot inside. Which didn't do my outfit any justice, but what the h*ll? I'm wearing a cute navy polkadot jumpsuit, with knee high black socks, black booties, and a black jacket. Polkadot jumpsuit is from urban outfitters, black jacket is from H&M, knee high socks are from Veritas, and booties are from New look.

This is my buddy!

Shoot#2

So lately I've been really busy with different styling projects. This second shoot I planned with a new photographer, Tasja Van Rijmenant.. and offcourse my lovely miss massy doing the make up and hair. It was pretty last minute, I was staying with my parents, so I didn't have any of my clothes to like put together awesome outfits. But I went trough my sisters closet, and found two cute outfits, that I could work with. I would rather have waited a week, if i'm really honest. But that wasn't possible, so I just went for it. The first look was a darker, more bad ass look. With the big hair, and red glossy lips. Snowwhite gone bad! The second look, kinda failed, because it was too dark outside to shoot properly. But I adored the make up and hair, the styling wasn't that good, my bad. I screwed up there. It was a cute basic outfit, very basic. But not good enough.
So here are some of the pictures. A big thank you to Tasja & Nanja. Girls, thank you for a very fun shoot!
