My first business cards everrrrrrr!

So as I started out on my own, as a "freelance" stylist..I needed businesscards..to hand out, at different jobs, so people would be able to contact me whenever. I posted something on my facebook, asking if anyone could help me out with the design.. my dear friend Laura, immediately jumped to the occasion..and suggested she do it. I wanted something simple, but with an edge.. and she delivered! I'm in love with them! I'm picking them up, this weekend! Can't wait!

So again, I have been pretty distracted with everything going on lately...I haven't been posting a lot..but I wanted to share the pictures of my last photoshoot with you guys..I'm so proud of our team..we did it again. A group of non professional creative people, who work hard, and deliver.. I love it. Our shoot was in Blankenberge..but in some pictures it looks like we're in Africa or something..so I hope you like the pictures. I worked really hard, to get where I am today.. so show some support.

My little workplace.

So yesterday, me and my man went to Ikea. And he got me a little purple desk for in the apartment. I got some pink flowers to go with it. I love it! So sweet! Now I have my little workplace in the apartment, where I can work all day! Part 2, of Ikea is going down tonight! More furniture for our apartment! Excited!

Big ass necklaces!

I'm a huge fan of the ethnic, bohemian clothing style..So I got these big ass necklaces, to match my outfits this summer.. The sun is finally shining, we've had a period of some rain, and cold. But it's looking good. Hope it lasts. Here are some pictures of my new buys.. Can't wait to put on my maxi dresses, and sandals. Haaa summer how I love you.

Spring/summer buys!

Hello everyone, I'm so happy the sun is shining today..it does wonders for my mood. I woke up, with the sound of my doorbell this morning, it was the postman, with a delivery for moi..a package from ROMWE. My favorite streetstyle online webshop. Inside was my pretty collar I ordered a few weeks ago. So I got up, and headed in to the city, to buy some more supplies for my upcoming shoots. I went to Forever 21, because it was mainly accessories that I needed..and they have a killer accessory department. I literally stayed there for an hour, just walking around, picking stuff up, putting them back down, walking around some more..so many bowls, of delicious jewelery. CRAZY TOWN. But I got what I needed..and headed back home. Arriving there, I found a note from the postman saying I should check with the hairdressers right next to me, because they left me a package there. It was from ROMWE again, I ordered like a stack of clothes from them, for my shoots...but because it turned out, it was going to take longer, for them to get here..I had to rearange all my looks, and buy some extra stuff. So I was pretty suprised, when the clothes got here, a day before my shoot. But I'm sticking to the looks that I prepared..more clothes means, more shoots coming up! Exciting!

Oh god, I came across these feathered skirts at Topshop.com. How cute are they? I'm trying to decide which colour I'll get..This is great for shoots as well. Lots of inspiration. #I'mlikeabirrrrrrrrrdddddd.

When milk and clothing fit.

I recently discovered this brand called 'Black Milk Clothing'. And I absolutely fell in love with it. It's right up my alley. Streetwear to the extreme. I like! People often ask me what my favorite kinde of style is. Well, I can describe it as crazy, original, streetwear! Oversized everything, beeniehats, sneakers or boots, leggings, high waisted destroyed look denim shorts, god how I love fashion! But this brand is a keeper, i'm def going to order some stuff online..as soon as the paycheck comes in! ;)

Dream Dare Fly!

Well, I wanted to do a post on how I got a little closer to the amazing program ' The Ultimate dance battle'. Some time ago, I contacted an old friend of mine, to check if she was interested in doing a shoot with me, for my portfolio. She said yes, and added, that she auditioned for 'Tudb'..and got in. As we are both dancers, me not so much anymore these days ;) , but I could understand her excitement. So I did the shoot with her..in the month time she had off..Two weeks after that, she contacted me, if I was interested in styling a promoshoot for her team..also known as TEAM VINCENT, or the inVINCEables. Offcourse I jumped to the opportunity, because i'm a huge fan, of Vincent Vianen's choreography's, and the ultimate dance battle. So I contacted my good friend Vingt cents..briljant photographer..and my girl Nanja from M a s s y creations, to help me out. Together we pulled it off, and it was an amazing shootingday! What made it so special for me was.. the night before... I got the green light, that everything was good, and that they were actually coming. But I did not have any sizes, I did not know, who was going to be there.. So the next morning, I headed in to leuven, ran to the H&M, and in only two hours got myself, a bunch of clothes..I texted Sarah for the sizes, which I got, and THEN I found out, that Vincent, was going to be there as well. Turned out, they were all in Belgium, training for their upcoming liveshows. To make a long story short, I spent a lot of money on that shoot, but it was so worth it. That experience, showed me, that I was strong enough, to take on all most everything..as long as I put my mind to it. We had an amazing day, we ended up on a rooftop, in the city of Leuven..sun going down..it was breathtaking. I had to pinch myself several times. I want to thank Sarah Mancini, as well..for giving me the opportunity, to shine..and get myself out there like that. Also Vingt cents & Nanja, you did an amazing job. Stressy times, but we did it. To end on a less moochy tone, Team Vincent, actually WON the competition. They are the winners of 'The ultimate dance battle' 2012! I was so happy, because I was really rooting for them, I did not get to know them in that short time..but we have a lot in common..we all have dreams. We all dare to take a leap of faith, try out our luck, and see where it takes us. We dream, we dare and we fly. Such a talented team, hard workers, and so motivated. That's why they are the most allround dance team of 2012. For those who are interested, they are planning a tour throughout the Netherlands, with their team, and several other guest dancers. I hope they'll make it to belgium, because I will be front row, cheering them.. and their dreams on.
