Oh my goshhh Balmain!

So I've been a huge fan of Balmain for a couple of years now..Every time someone would ask me, who's ur favorite designer? Balmain would be the first name, that popped up in my head. I'm not good with names, so I'm not able to link the designer with their signature style. I just follow the fashion news..look at the different runway shows..and sometimes stuff stands out... like Haider Ackermanns Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 RTW collection..he's one of my personal favorites as well. But Balmain is ' Ohmygoshfabulous' to me. I go through the pictures and i'm going ' wow-shut up-omfg ' with every new picture that pops up...I'm blown away by the sense of detail, and style that goes into each and every outfit. The embroidery, the jackets woven with pearls, the ultra modern edge, the sharp tailoring, and oversized proportions are to die for. I love everything about it. It's so dangerous to combine all these elements, but Olivier Rousteing makes it seem effortless! That much of detail, and over the top sparkle and pearls, could be too much, but he combines it in a modern way..by using rather masculin fitted jackets and pants..so you have the best of two worlds...you've got the androgyn boxy fit, but the feminine detail and sensual feel, in the prints, and choice in fabric. I can go on and on about this...I guess it all started with the Fall/winter collection of last year..those embroidered oversized sweaters/ dresses were amazing! They caught my eye. I would die for one of those. If I would have to pick one designer, that would dress me every single day.. it would be Balmain. The clothes breathe streetstyle-chic as no other..with a hint of masculin energy and fit..Pure perfection. Perfectly tailored, luxury feel, edgy but sensual clothes with a masculin oversized feel, the perfect combo between androgyn and feminine wardrobe.

Blondie's back!

So you all know that i'm obsessed with coloring my hair! I wanted to have a blond ombre for so long now, the last time I went to the hairdressers...they totally screwed up my hair... i'm not going to say where that was..but never go to an unknown hairdresser, for coloring. it almost always turns out in disaster.

So but I went to BED HEAD in Antwerpen..and they gave me the most awesome ombre! Some people might find it ugly, but I love it.

I went darker on top, and white/blond on the bottom... check out these pictures of my new hairstyle..

Amsterdam edge.

Hi everyone!

I've been trying to juggle everything..getting myself used to this different lifestyle. So my blog has been shuvved to the last priority. I know... not a good thing. But I'm all coffeed up, and ready to go. So i'm going to bring you the latest news and gossip from my life...

This post is about my trip to Amsterdam. A few weeks ago, I was driving home, and a song from Usher came on the radio. I thought to myself..wouldn't it be a great thing, if I could get a group of dancers together, and be able to style them? So I got home, and immediately started planning. I've always loved dancing, and music. That's where I get my inspiration from most of the time. So I chose a song... Talk that talk by Rihanna and Jay-Z. And I put a post up on my facebook..just to see if anyone would bite. The next day I got a lot of messages of people, that wanted to join..dancers, make up artists, photographers, ... So before I knew it, I got myself a new project. I ended up, with 4 male and female dancers. I found someone that would film the video..I found a choreographer, 2 make up artists, and a hairstylist. I could not believe, that I actually pulled it off.. because i'm just starting out, I'm not in the position to pay everyone. So they all did it, to help me out..and for their own portfolio as a dancer/make up artist offcourse. But still, it is a nice thing to do. It ended up being one of the best experiences in my life. I got to meet amazing people, amazing dancers, and I'm so happy, that i'm this crazy sometimes. Now I heard that the video is going to be ready TOMORROW!!! I'm so excited! So i'll post it on the blog tomorrow... in the mean time , here are some pictures...from the gang on location.

Love, K.
