So it's finally here... the big launch of the new Antwerp based brand.. BLACK&BLANCHE. What does every girl ( and guy ) need in her closet? AMAZING SOCKS, right? Short ones, knee highs, over knees, ... in every trendy color! Your go to brand frow now on ; Black&Blanche. I am a huge fan of socks..especially the over knees. This brand has done a great job, designing new original socks that we haven't seen before.

The socks come in 3 different styles.. you've got the Uni color; Socks in different colors following the new trends, decorative ; socks with flowers, and pop art prints, and last but not least Fantasy ; socks with little bows, lace details, and combined materials.

Black&Blanche is a color brand. So besides their collection of socks, they came up with an interesting and easy solution, to figure out how to combine colors. Let me introduce to you, the color passport. It comes in a pocket size version, with different color charts. No worries Iphone addicts, they also made an Iphone and Ipad application..So now you have no excuses left, for not wearing color!

So this is how it works..Imagine, you have this one top, that you haven't worn yet. You've tried it on several times, but after a few minutes taken it off again, because you failed to find a matching piece of clothing that completes your look. Well, The color passport, will help you find that piece of clothing! Just whip out you're pocket size version, or open the gadget on your iphone or Ipad.. and start matching. If you're using the pocket size one, you take you're color chart, and slide it in, eh voila, the matching colors appear on your passport. It's really that easy!

On Tuesday, the 3rd of April, Black&Blanche had their press launch in Amsterdam. It was a rather intimate gathering. Location for the launch, was the Supperclub in Amsterdam. Everyone had to dress in their favorite color. The interior was all white, so the socks and outfits of the guests really stood out.

The Black&Blanche collection will be sold in stores starting from August. You can download the color passport, the first of July. So we'll have to wait just a little longer!
