Inbetweenlife.

Soooooo all my lovely readers..I know I haven't been giving you guys ( and girls ) a lot to read the last couple of weeks..but I've been crazy busy! With work and my styling projects. I've been mailing a whole lotta people, to get the jobs done..I'm a freaking mail genius by now. ( YES I am joking. ) I don't even know where to start. As you all know I've started a stylist portfolio..and I didn't really know what to think of it..or what would happen..I wasn't expecting a lot.. BUT I'm sooo happy, because a lot of people have contacted me over these 3 months..and I got to work with a lot of interesting people. This is only the beginning..and i'm this excited already. GOOD LORD. I'm so blessed, I want to thank all of the people who have helped me along the way..it's been a fun journey, and I hope to work with all of you again! So what's been happening? I'll try to make a summary for you guys. I have a monthly shoot, for my portfolio, where I choose a variety of looks..that are totally me. I'm not trying to be someone that i'm not. I just do what I know best, and that's MY style. The looks inspire me all in different ways. I made a webpage for my online portfolio. Exciting! I helped my friend lola out with a dress, or should I say dresseSSS, 1 for her music video, and 1 for her  performance at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. She called me and asked my help with finding a dress. I immediately knew where to go..COS! I found two dresses that were a perfect match. I hope to see some pictures soon! She is such a sweetie! She also got me in contact with this girl from a magazine. They were looking for a personal shopper in Antwerp..Laura ( Lola ) suggested me on twitter, eh voila..it got the job! ;) So this thursday i'm taking them through a shopping tour of Antwerp to look for some spring/summer looks. So excited! I helped style a make over, for people with down syndrome. 21st of march is world down syndrome day..and this year they decided to do something fun..instead of talking about the disadvantages of living with it..they focused on the fashion part. Because it's really difficult for them to dress, they have trouble finding the right size, because their body is so out of proportion. So we had 10 models, different ages, and together with our main stylist Harald Ligtvoet, we picked out some new clothes, did their make up and hair, and prepared them for the main fashion show. It was a really nice project to be involved in. It was a fun team, everyone enjoyed it, and the smile on their little faces made my day. They loved it, and that's what counts..making them happy. I posted the video down below..for the foreigners amongst you, it's in dutch, but you'll get it, i'm sure. Another exciting project coming up, a friend of mine, Vincent, asked me to help him out with this shoot for BUSCEMI. for those who don't know who buscemi is..he's big in music land. His new album is coming out April 16, and we're shooting the press picture, that will be used to promote his new album. It's a big shoot, 16 models, 3 MUA. Plus the styling is a challenge as well. He wants, lingerie, white big sunhats, and high heels. But 16 MODELS, is a lot! So I contacted some brands, and luckily, they decided to sponsor our shoot, and lend out some clothes..Now I just need the hats and shoes! I really really hope I can pull this off! Because this is a major opportunity for me to spread my name even more. This sunday, I'm having my fourth shoot, here in Antwerp. My buddy Vinnie is my photographer of the day..MUA Bonny, who did my make up in my M.A.C cosmetics make up session, and Nanja, my girl, is in charge of hair! I can't wait to share the pictures with you guys.

But that's enough writing for this post..I'm gonna leave you with some pictures, and offcourse the video of the Down make over. Cheers boys and girls, enjoy your weekends, and GET OUTSIDE, the weather is frickking gorgeous. Well it is here in belgium anyways, don't know about the rest of the globe :)
