Like in a movie, somewhere near Union Square, is an unmarked door that leads you to MODEL HEAVEN! Unfortunately, you are only allowed in if you're a model. This lounge, is a girls only cosy basement, with magazines, free redbull, and wireless internet. It opened about 2 years ago, and runs yearround. Models from any of the top ten ranked model agencies, can come and relax between shoots, go sees, and castings.
Besides getting a member card, that provides them with a warm spot to relax every now and then, the card provides discounts with various fashion brands, and companies.
In addition to all that, The model lounge, puts together 2 annual pre fashion week events. One is where the casting directors, designers, photographers get together with the girls, and tell them what they look for at a booking, and allow them to ask questions. The second event, is a 'learn how to walk' event. The girls get coached by the best runway experts, to improve their runway skills.
